Take a chance

Be passionate about your life. Learn to live without the fear of failing. Take a chance, you just might surprise yourself.”

Nishan Panwar

Starting something new later in your life might seem like a bad idea or too challenging and scary. At least I had my doubts before starting martial arts in my late 30’s.

What if I can’t do this ? What if it is too late for me ? What if I can’t keep up with younger training partners ? What if I wasn’t any good at it ? What if I get made fun of ? What if ……. the list went on and on.

But then I realized I had to take that chance, because …. What if I would really love it ? What if I could get really good at it ? What if I made new friends ? What if I could inspire others ? What if it’s is the thing that’s missing in my life ? What if ……

In the end we all have to choose which ‘what ifs’ we listen to, but if in doubt I’d say take a chance and go for it, because what if it ends up to be the best decision you ever made ?!
